Here's to strong, amazing women! This month our style icon is the great Stevie Nicks.
No one has epitomized the term rock goddess better than Stevie! Not only does her unique fashion continue to be a huge influence, but her voice was and always will be a force to be reckoned with.

Destined for greatness, her original band Fritz with Lindsay Buckingham opened for Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix (talk about a bright beginning!) This landed her the ultimate gig in a little band that you may remember called Fleetwood Mac. It was there that she really set the stage for all female artists to be heard and developed into a legend. The band was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
With music in her soul, she continued to have a very successful solo career and is deemed "The reigning Queen of Rock and Roll" She is known for her distinctive voice, amazing style, and symbolic lyrics. A true fashion original she created a style that is still being emulated by top designers and women worldwide.
It goes without saying that she has greatly influenced our personal style. So just for fun, we compared a few favorites from our store with the woman herself!

And if you ever get the chance to get your hands on this album, you won't be disappointed! Stevie Nicks and then partner Lindsay Buckingham recorded together as Buckingham Nicks before joining Fleetwood Mac. Pure, raw and some of their best work to date. Their only album, it still hasn’t been released on CD, but Stevie says 2013 might see a 40th anniversary outing for the LP.

One of our favorite Holidays is coming up...Valentine's Day! After all, it's all about love, and we're huge romantics!

Why are women so obsessed with SHOES?!!!! I mean we truely feel our hearts skip a beat over a cool pair of shoes, and will strike up a conversation with a stranger if she is wearing a delightful pair. It's an unspoken sisterhood, actually giving each other a silent wink at a great pair of shoes but at the same time, we'll fight to the death if we're challenged in a great sale opportunity! Shoes are the period at the end of an amazing story, they complete us, and no matter if we gain a pound or two, they always fit....and what's not to love about that?!
